"Devil's Puzzle" is a Head of Household or Power of Veto competition which originated in Big Brother 1, and also featured as a Jeopardy competition in Big Brother 11.
Rules[]
In this puzzle competition, houseguests are given a 36-piece jigsaw puzzle that they must solve, printscreen, and send to Shawn.
The catch is, the puzzle is a completely white canvas, with no color or design of any sort. Houseguests have to use their intuition to put together the entire puzzle using pieces that all look the same, just with different shapes.
The first houseguest to submit their completed puzzle to Shawn will become the new Head of Household, or win the Power of Veto.
Modifications[]
In Big Brother 2 the puzzle was a completely green canvas instead of a white one, to distinguish it from the one used for the competition in Big Brother 1. This happened again with a purple puzzle for the opening competition of Big Brother 4, along with the puzzle size being upped from 36 to 50 pieces. Then in Big Brother All-Stars the puzzle had a whopping 140 pieces and an ugly yellow canvas. In Big Brother 6 the puzzle size was brought back down to only 50 pieces and the purple canvas from Big Brother 4 also returned.
