JT solidified his place in the game early on as part of the Randomize's Slaves alliance. However the alliance couldn't account for it's enemies gaining power, and when Ryan D. won HOH in the first Double Eviction, JT found himself slammed on the block. Against key alliance member Patrick M., the options were weighed as to who would help them oust Ryan and Chandler P. the most. JT lost that equation and was ousted by a 6-3 vote. Fifth to arrive on the Ghost Train, he was pitted into a three-way duel with fellow newcomer Erik I. and reigning leader Jake K., with Erik coming out on top. JT did manage to beat Jake however and thus he finished in thirteenth place.
